Access 97 and Related Annoyances

The audit tracking is working great, but suddenly my Access 97 users are complaining that after saving a record, the access form loads a random record into the form, whereas before it remained on the same saved record.  Furthermore, the record that was just saved cannot be found by the usual Find record function, unless the user exits the application completely and restarts it.  I had to disable the auditing package to return things back to normal.  I can't for the life of me imagine why the audit package would affect an Access 97 application that writes to the audited sql table from a linked mode...  ???

OK. The audit is back on this afternoon.  Turns out the problem was in Access 97 in sub form_BeforeUpdate(Cancel as Integer) sub routine.

You have to set focus back to the Me.ActiveControl... which clearly indicates that the odbc has something to do with the communication back to the client after an insert trigger is fired.
